Dance music

After a few years of settling down in a foreign country, I have no activities or friends, so on weekends I don't practice martial arts, then I practice dancing. Sometimes, Ms. Thom takes me to Hai's lovely mobile home to play. At that time, he and she were still in the dating stage and had not yet gotten married. Hai has a talent for cooking delicious Vietnamese food. More specifically, he dances very stylishly. Maybe that's why my sister fell in love with him. I like to go to his house to play because I can eat vermicelli noodles that he cooks and practice dance steps with him. From Cha Cha to Rumba, from Paso to Tango, and from Valse to Bebop, he teaches not only the basic steps but also fancy moves. Thanks to her as an assistant, he taught very enthusiastically.

One of the cassettes that Mr. Hai used to teach me the Rumba dance included three songs Ngoc Lan performed: "Love Forever", "My hometown river", and "Sad movie story". Until now, every time I listen to these three songs, memories come flooding back. Ngoc Lan's clear voice flows like a stream of water through the lines of Rumba music. Word by word (“I love you forever / Like a pair of birds flying in the sky” or “Even though we are far away from the desert, life is endless / My heart is still floating on a sunny river” or “My heart The bag is numb and the eyes suddenly become wet / Every drop of sadness and pain"), Ngoc Lan sings like pouring a glass of cold water on a dry sunny day. At that time I did not know the origin of those three songs. Later I found all three songs in the album Pink Love Song: Lambada 2published by Hai Au Center. The talented musician who harmonized these songs was Quang Nhat. The album also features contributions from Kieu Nga, Trung Hanh, and Trizzie Phuong Trinh. The two songs Cha Cha (“Love you more than words” and “Know how the day is going”) bring fun to the album. Kieu Nga's voice is strong and clear, so it is very suitable for young melodies. "Farewell to you for the last time" closes the album with great sadness through Trung Hanh's husky and masculine voice.

In addition to the youth music albums of that time, I also collected dance music albums. Recently, I bring out dance CDs to listen to remember the moments when going to the disco. One of the albums that I still listen to over and over again is Kieu Nga's Love Dance, released by Le Hang Center. I really like Kieu Nga's clear and energetic voice. As for the music, Le Duc Cuong harmonizes the dance rhythms that are very pleasing to the ears, such as "The Wandering Clouds" (Cha Cha) "The sad king of clothes" (Rumba), and especially the "Love Song" through the rhythms. jubilant Paso dance like going to the market.

Another album by Le Duc Cuong who is also in charge of the harmonization is Colorful Dance through Son Tuyen's voice. Although Son Tuyen is not as famous as Ms. Thanh Tuyen, I personally prefer Son Tuyen, especially when she sings dance music. In this album, there are two songs Bebop ("Doll without love" and "I come to you"), which are beautiful and bustling. Bebop was the hardest rhythm for me to learn but it was so much fun to learn the dance moves. On the contrary, the album also has slow songs like "Ashes" and "Last words for you" which are so sad.

Asia Center releases a lot of dance music. The Best of Tango & Valse with senior vocals such as Julie, Ngoc Lan, Kieu Nga, Thai Hien, Thanh Mai, and Thien Trang. The Best of Cha Cha Cha with junior vocals like Lam Thuy Van, Thanh Truc, Loan Chau, Shayla, and Nini. At the same time, Asia also released The Best of Da Vu from No. 1 to No. 8. Personally, the first two albums were very impressive. Featured in the first album are two Rumba songs ("Rain on the deserted sea" and "Memories in me") sung by Don Ho and a Cha Cha song "Love siis" through the promising young voice of Lam Thuy Van. Highlights from the second album include "Blue Love Music" (Cha Cha) performed by Don Ho and "Hoang Vang" (Dance Pop) performed by Lam Thuy Van.

Another impressive album by Asia is Black DanceThe song "Ti" by musician Y Van is mixed very strangely and especially with English lyrics by Do Phu., especially Don Ho sings this song very soulfully. Lam Thuy Van and Trung Hanh duet the song "Rain Falling" (Cha Cha) very suitable. From the crunchy Rumba rhythm to the high-pitched singing of Lam Thuy Van, "Love has flown away" cuts straight to the wound of the heart.

Sitting down to write these products makes me reminisce about a long time ago. A few years ago I had my CDs stolen because I forgot to lock my car. Including The Best of Da Vu 1 & 2 and Da Vu BlackIt's a pity because I don't know if I can buy it again now. Fortunately, now it seems that every Vietnamese album is available on YouTube. If you want to listen, look it up on YouTube. Only the colorful Da Dance does not exist.
